So often we have women say to us, "I want something that has never done before" or "I want something different and unique". Truth be told, every neckiline, silhouette, and color pattern has more than likely already been done. One of our fashion idols is the legendary Madame Grès. She revolutionized the modern technique of draping and the idea of cutouts on gowns, but I assure you she was not the first. Before her it was the Greeks in the time of Caesar, and before the Greeks it was the Egyptians of King Tut's era. |

On more than one occasion we have been posed with the question, "Where does your inspiration come from?". As artists, this is a fun but difficult question to answer. It is difficult because our inspiration comes from EVERYWHERE and EVERYTHING! Our eyes are open all the time; we are constantly observing our surroundings and soaking it in. We have pulled bead patterns from an earring we saw someone wearing or have chosen color palettes based on the cakes and pastries in a Paris cafe. |
